7/11/98 Check out the latest CD release of Gene Vincent-The Lost Dallas Sessions. It's a great item to fill in the blanks with The Rebel Heart series out of Europe. Nice liner notes too. I still see Gene's 6 CD Box Set From The UK available at a number of sites. ----- Get that Rhino Ray Charles Box Set Genius and Soul. Typical flash from the boys at Rhino. Nothing new in the stereo area of course. ----- Billy Poore's new book, Rockabilly: A Forty Year Journey has FINALLY Made it out and here's a real surprise. It's published by Hal Leonard! When did they get interested in Rockabilly. It's a great read. Chock fulll of info that I've never haerd about before. There's a companion CD too. Haven't heard it yet but Billy was in Baltimore recently and it came out before the book.
